There is a user flow for using drawing tools in Charts in the web version of a trading platform. My job was to design the best way to do it mobile. The requirement was to describe the process of adding, editing and deleting a trend line on iPhone X.
Based on my research and the analysis of three other trading apps selected It was easier to design this user experience on mobile devices. I noticed that drawing the trend line is rather difficult on small screens so I wanted to make it more effortless. I designed an additional zoom area to make tapping on the candlesticks less challenging. Wireflows helped me to design the tool in a general way. It made me realize and then decide, that it will be best if I choose only the horizontal view for the UI.
